Laborers & Equipment Operators
We are seeking Laborers / Equipment Operators to become a part of our team!
JEB builds and remodels convenience stores and gasoline stations.
Responsibilities
Assist in all phases of construction
Excavate and install:
- Underground storage tanks and piping
- Canopy and building foundations
- Storm water piping
- Electrical conduit
- Natural Gas piping
- Sewer piping
Form and pour concrete:
- island mats
- tank mats
- vehicle approaches
- curbing
- sidewalks
- building floor
Install base for asphalt drive ways
Assist in the installation of structural steel and masonry buildings
Assist in the installation of interior walls, ceiling tiles, plumbing, electrical,…
Load and unload cargo
Communicate need for maintenance or repair of equipment or vehicles
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction activities
Self motivated and positive attitude
Punctual and excellent work ethic
Ability to read a tape measure. Add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure.
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to apply common sense to carrying out instructions
Must have a valid drivers license from state of residence
Education - High School Graduate of General Education Degree (GED)
Safety
Works in a safe manner
Reports unsafe acts or conditions
Complies with owner safety requirements
Complies with OSHA requirements
Additional training will be provided
Wear all Personal Protective Equipment
Report injuries to supervisor
General
Work sites may require travel and overnight stay during the construction projects. Per Diem and room paid for by JEB.
